Beware of Scholarship Scams!!!
It has come to the attention of the guidance department that a lot of students have been receiving letters and invitations to "exclusive" scholarship searches, college information and preparatory programs and organizations which offer other services to help students apply to and get jobs from colleges. In our experience, most of these programs are SCAMS!
Do not sign up for something which expects you to pay money without first asking your guidance counselor and understanding exactly what you are getting for your money.
Here are some important facts/tips:
Remember- if something seems too good to be true, it probably is!!
